The UPIA will be hosting a ghost hunt at the beautifully historic Thompson house on 10-29-11. Guests will first experience a great dinner then will investigate alongside the UPIA team and learn about various ghost hunting techniques.

Our Mission
Part 1:
There are so many groups of investigators out there and its sad to admit most don’t get along with each other. To often there are feuds and backstabbing in-between them. We are setting out to try to bring the desire to all investigators to accept other groups and people for their unique styles and methods and work with each other at least in sharing thoughts, theories and tricks of the trade.
Part 2:
The general public at times has a twisted sense of what truly is out there when it comes to the paranormal. This is largely due to movies, TV, and urban legends. Although they may be the cause of the misunderstanding they are not at fault. They were made as entertainment and should be treated as such. It is our job to dispel the untruths of the paranormal and install facts not fears.
